Golden Rails: Tales of the Wild West

In the new strategy game “Golden Rails. Wild West Stories” you will be transported to the era of railroad construction in America in the 19th century. A young graduate of a university in New York, Jill, goes to her first job as a chief engineer. She will need to build a brand new railroad in 50 days. After all, her employer, John, owes a large sum of money to a banker, and if he does not have time to pay off the debt, he will lose the enterprise that he inherited from his father.

The player will need to build a railroad, remove obstacles, collect resources and restore all the small backwater towns that Jill and John pass by on their way. In addition, the heroes will have to resist the machinations of a treacherous banker who simply cannot watch as the tasty morsel, which he already considered his own, floats past his greedy hands. Therefore, the banker hires bandits who sometimes set up ambushes, sometimes rob the townspeople, sometimes steal the world’s largest gold nugget, and sometimes even kidnap John’s workers.

In addition to the main plot of the game about building a railroad and the tasks associated with it, the player will also need to complete additional quests. For example, create a huge totem for the Indians or build a giant statue of a woodcutter, establish uninterrupted mail service and make sure that people receive letters. Or save for posterity the giant sequoias, which in real life were barbarically cut down at this time.

The game has three modes of play, no time, standard time, and a more difficult one, where time is strictly limited. In addition to 50 levels with various tasks, the game has a small surprise for players. At each level you can find an owl, whose portrait then appears in the “Wanted” gallery.
