Buckle up your boots, put on your helmet, adjust your shoulder pads and chest plate… and don’t forget to tuck a sharp dagger into your belt (but don’t let anyone notice).

There are no more wars in the Old World since the peoples inhabiting it began to resolve conflicts with the help of a special sport dedicated to the god Nuffle: Blood Bowl. But although the sports field has replaced the battlefield, no less blood is spilled on it. Murder, maiming, cheating, bribery, witchcraft and divine intervention – all this, to the delight of ardent fans of the game, does not contradict its rules!

• Play ruthlessly, but not mindlessly – take under your wing a team of 12 available factions, each with its own characteristics, and wisely place players on the field to hinder the enemy as effectively as possible. Evade or mercilessly deal with those who stand in your way to reach the end zone and score the decisive touchdown! Sure, the better your strategy, the greater the advantage, but will it be enough? After all, a crazy troll can devour a teammate at any moment and change the course of the match.

   

• You’re the boss here – create players, customize their appearance, emblems and armor, invite cheerleaders and a coach, and then take part in the most brutal competition in the Old World. But remember: in this sport, injuries are common, and some of your players may be carried off the field feet first. Such is the final end to a sports career…
