The war between the forces of Hell and Heaven has reached its climax: six seals of the Book of Life have been broken, the last one remains – the seventh. After that, the Apocalypse will come, and then humanity will only die. The battlefield, as usual, is Earth. The Charred Council, which has maintained balance since time immemorial, calls for help from the four horsemen of the Apocalypse, for only they can restore the balance of power in the Universe and prevent people from completely disappearing from the face of the earth.
Your protagonist is War, one of the horsemen, the youngest of four brothers, half angels, half demons. It remains to buy Darksiders on steampay.com in order to immerse yourself in an apocalyptic reality built on the ruins of modern cities. Pass your judgement on angels and demons, bosses and various smaller creatures, of which there are plenty in the game!
Darksiders is a slasher game with a plot full of sharp turns! War will have to figure out why his brothers did not show up and he is forced to fight alone; why the seventh seal is safe and sound, and what role the Charred Council plays in all of this. No one will escape retribution for deception and betrayal!
Game Features:
- You will have to rack your brains. In addition to exploring the surrounding world and participating in battles, the main character will have to solve a number of riddles and puzzles. The world is now divided into parts, and in its center is the Crossroads, where War receives new keys and goals. With their help, he opens access to new locations, which are full of linear and non-linear quests.
- Character leveling. New opportunities and areas will open up as the hero regains his former strength and lost abilities. He will also have to restore his lost weapons.
- Combat techniques. From the very beginning of the game, War is the owner of the legendary Chaoseater sword – the Eater of Chaos. As the game progresses, he acquires and masters new types of weapons, techniques and combo attacks. Long-range weapons will help both in combat and in solving puzzles. Objects lying around aimlessly can become weapons, and a finishing move can be used against an almost defeated enemy.
- Special modes. The hero can briefly take the form of Chaos, a huge fire demon with a giant sword, and crush enemies left and right. Also, at later stages of the game, he can summon a fire horse named Ruin, which gives a powerful movement speed boost and an equally powerful attack in open areas.
- Souls. The only currency that is valued in the game. Depending on the type of creatures killed, you get souls of different colors. With the help of souls, the hero can upgrade existing abilities and acquire new ones. Green souls fill the green health bar. Yellow ones – the Wrath bar, which is spent on various abilities. Blue souls are a means of payment, the currency of the game.
