Bibots is a top-down rogue-lite shooter with a focus on bullet hell action. Switch between two characters, explore and clear areas filled with monsters, unlock abilities, customize your characters, die, learn, and try to save the world once again.
Play as Tayar, a crow explorer and the unlikely savior of his world, Takaful. Choose your weapon, muster your courage, and stand against the plans of an evil genius. Tayar is not the only one to accomplish this feat. As the chosen Bibot (whom he luckily stumbled upon), he gains the ability to transform into one of those ancient mechanical creatures. Each Bibot has its own strengths, try them all out and choose the one that suits your playstyle.
Features
Discover a colorful world
Journey through mysterious temples in a colorful world full of interesting characters, but also inhabited by dangerous monsters. The world is divided into regions, each with its own atmosphere. The regions are carefully designed and contain handcrafted battle rooms, treasures, merchants and secrets that change every time you play. Defend your home from vile enemies that corrupt the fauna and threaten Takaful.
Bibots
Choose a Bibot to join Tayar on his epic journey. Bibots accumulate energy during your fights and use it to summon destructive power in these mechanical creatures. Each Bibot has its own playstyle and abilities. Use them to take on the toughest enemies or get out of tough situations. Master them! The more you fight the same Bibot, the more its synergy with Tayar will increase, unlocking new attack variations that you can customize before battle.
Customize Your Weapons
Equip Tayar with a variety of weapons that you can customize with chips you find while exploring or meeting merchants. Experiment and combine their effects to create your own playstyle and customize the weapon of your dreams with countless possibilities and powerful synergies.
Level Up
Gain experience during battles to improve Tayar’s skills. Make him a veteran, a soldier, a scientist, or a mix of all three. Each tree gives you access to permanent passive abilities that improve a wide range of skills and offer you new ways to enhance the synergy between Tayar and his Bibot.
Designed for Speedrunners
Bibots are designed for all types of players, so we created features and gameplay mechanics designed with speedrunners in mind. The game tracks your current completion time, and you can see it at any time during the game. The faster you complete levels, the more bonuses you’ll receive, tailored to your fast-paced playstyle. Influence your timer by summoning your Beebot and stopping the flow of time, switch your characters wisely to keep the time from running out, and unlock the maximum number of rewards.
