The backstory of this add-on was the main storyline of Borderlands 2. After a glorious victory, the elders of the vault hunter guard decided to relax with a game of the local analogue of Dungeons & Dragons. Tina is casting for the role of game master. This charming-looking girl with dashing pigtails kills without thinking, and does it with her bare hands, and also, literally without looking, constructs explosive devices.
Do you think that if you decide to buy the key Borderlands 2: Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon Keep, you will play as this daredevil? Nothing of the sort. You will get the role of an ordinary figure on the board. You will find yourself inside an imaginary world, which the game master has to finalize as the action unfolds. Let’s say you’ve found the King of the Dwarves and are just about to talk to him, when Brick intervenes and orders you to punch the royal person. And you’ll have to do it, because the figures can’t argue with the players.
You’ll constantly hear conversations going on at the table, where Tina argues with the seekers about what a certain place should be called or how it should look. And while the bickering is going on, the location seriously changes its appearance. And just when you find a nice sunny island and land on its shore, suddenly – bam, the sky is covered with clouds, and skeletons start crawling from the depths of the island, and clearly not with the purpose of greeting you with flowers. There’s a lot to talk about the plot, but it’s more practical to buy Borderlands 2: Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon Keep and walk through the levels yourself.
