Dream Cycle

Dream Cycle is a new take on the action-adventure genre, an endless portal into the unknown from Toby Gard, the “father” of Lara Croft. As aspiring sorceress Morgan Carter, you find yourself trapped in a literally fractured alternate dimension. Defeat the corrupted inhabitants of the Dreamlands to lift their curse. Disguise yourself, set traps, use spells and illusions to clear a path undetected, or challenge your enemies openly, with weapons in hand, to identify their weak points. With each enemy you defeat, you delve deeper into the Dreamlands, learning more about the world around you, about yourself, and maybe… maybe, find your way home.

History

A relative who suddenly appeared stole the soul of the aspiring sorceress Morgan Carter, thereby condemning her to imprisonment in the deadly Dreamland. Now, together with her, you will go on a journey through the broken worlds to find the villain – Morgan’s great-great-great-grandfather Randolph Carter, ruin his plans to become a god, get his soul back and save the Dreamland.

Dream Cycle is a new game by Toby Gard, the “father” of Lara Croft. It is based on the cycle of the same name by H. P. Lovecraft, and the music for it was written by the composer of the Tomb Raider series Nathan McCree.

Endless Adventure

Dream Cycle is not an ordinary game that can be completed from start to finish, but a constantly evolving platform for endless mysterious adventures. With each update, new worlds, new chapters of the story, original biomes with new opponents, types of weapons and skills and opportunities for the heroine will be added to the game.

Help Morgan develop and adapt to the conditions, discovering new fragments of the Dreamland.

Huge procedurally generated “sandbox

Forge your own path through the vastness of the game world. You will be partly led by the plot, but still – each time you pass through the Deep Gate, you will find yourself in a new fragment of the Dreamland, where more than 10 thousand new adventures await you. Each shard is a separate open world that you can explore from beginning to end, climbing, teleporting, and even flying in some places. It’s up to you to decide how to achieve your goals and ultimately bring the country back together.

Play in your own style

Choose what you like best: engage enemies in close combat, shoot them from afar, just like in a first-person shooter, or unleash the full power of spells on them – the gameplay will easily adapt to you. With eight spell slots available at any time and a flexible system of skills and bonuses, your sorceress will be who you want her to be.

The music by the composer of the original Tomb Raider series, Nathan McCrea, helps to immerse you in the amazing world of Dreamland. In addition, Dream Cycle is professionally voiced, which makes it even more lively and attractive.
