Since that fateful day of the “Cataclysm”, NATO and the USSR have been closely monitoring the situation in Sweden, gradually preparing and weighing all available options.

When evidence emerged that there were survivors in Östertörn, NATO issued Resolution “Response: Phase 1” – an urgent temporary solution that would airdrop a large amount of standard US military weapons to Östertörn. This is supposed to provide immediate aid and support to the various groups of survivors.

Medium versions of three US weapons can now be found in PLUNDRA containers throughout Östertörn. Newcomers will find them in the container in the Iboholmen Church. Higher grade weapons can be obtained as loot from defeating enemies. Here are the weapons you can now find.

The N9 Pistol is a tried and tested 9mm semi-automatic pistol with medium power. The standard issue pistol of the US Army. Excellent for medium range fire and when the primary magazine runs out of ammo.

The N16 Assault Rifle is the standard issue assault rifle of the US Army. It is easy to handle and has a burst fire mode. It performs well at long ranges due to its high accuracy, sights, and multiple firing modes.

The N60 Machine Gun is a powerful and stable multi-purpose machine gun that has been in service with the US Army since the late 1950s. With a high rate of fire and a large magazine, it is ideal for short to medium range shooting where accuracy is not a big concern.
