Lovecraft’s Untold Stories 2 is a role-playing action game with rogue-like elements, the plot of which continues the story of Lovecraft’s Untold Stories. In this game, the heroes move to a new stage of the fight against the unknown, and the new graphic style makes the events much more exciting. Collect randomly dropped loot and resources, craft equipment from them, explore old and new – procedurally generated – areas, repel attacks of dozens of different enemies and defeat legendary bosses! But be careful: the game has become even more difficult than before, and the nightmarish monsters will not give up so easily!

A PAINTING THAT DRIVES YOU CRAZY

In the spring of 1926, the surrealist artist Ardoit-Bonnot presented his work called “Dreamland” at the Paris Salon. As soon as the painting was unveiled, the gallery erupted into chaos, with visitors running around the building screaming. Shortly after the exhibition ended, Ardua-Bonnot fell into a deep sleep, and no one was able to wake him. Rumor has it that shortly before this “sleeping sickness” began, he was close to completing his greatest masterpiece, one that would change the world.

6 CHARACTERS

This time, you have up to 6 different characters at your disposal, both old and new, each with their own strengths and weaknesses. The detective, the witch, and the professor from the first game will continue to fight the Great Old Ones. They will be joined by a medium, a veteran, and a psychiatrist.

GEAR CRAFT

One of the new mechanics we’ve included in Lovecraft’s Untold Stories 2 is the ability to craft gear. Find blueprints to create and upgrade items (clothing, weapons, and consumables). Each item will change the look of your character.

ROGUELIKE ELEMENTS

This game is not a pure roguelike: you don’t have to start the game over if you die. Levels are randomly generated, and if you die, you’ll have to play from the beginning of the area, with monsters and loot being reset. Don’t forget to explore the level and complete side quests to get more loot and resources: they will help you in the story campaign.

FEATURES

• Fight dozens of different enemies, monsters and terrifying bosses from the Cthulhu legends in this intense and challenging action RPG. Wild beasts in the swamps, mental patients from the asylum and demons of the void will be a serious test for you. Show determination and find out the truth!
• 6 characters to play as – 3 familiar heroes from the previous part of the game and 3 newcomers. Each has their own weapons, equipment and skills. Switch between them whenever you want to choose the one who is best suited to complete the task at hand!
• Collect hundreds of different weapons and clothing items, or craft your own gear – Search every room on the map and open every crate to get randomly generated loot, money to buy resources, and blueprints to craft items.
• Side quests are essential – Completing side quests can give you resources that will help you progress further in the story campaign. Remember to start every side quest you find. You don’t have to do them right away; save them for when you need more loot!
• Use roguelike elements – Level maps are randomly generated, as is the loot. The game is not a pure roguelike: if your character dies or you try to replay a level, you will only lose progress for the area you are currently in. Use this: if you get the loot you need, try the level again!
• Use amulets! These sacred relics will grant your character strange new abilities. Choose the ones that suit you best and make your adventure unique. But beware: power comes at a high price!
• Dive into a world of darkness where every step could be your last. Stay on the edge of madness as you explore the asylum and other areas of Arkham, as well as the swamps, the haunted forest, the underworld and many other levels that will be procedurally generated!
