SlavicPunk: Oldtimer is an isometric shooter based on the works of renowned Polish sci-fi and fantasy author Michał Gołkowski. It was Michał Gołkowski who created the story of Janus, a private detective with a turbulent past, trying to solve a case of stolen data while battling his inner demons, urban gangs, and an all-powerful corporation responsible for the decline of the city he once called his own.
The game features a robust combat and movement system, as well as a modular weapon upgrade system, allowing players to make every battle feel different as they navigate the dark corners of the city. Action-packed levels featuring elements of stealth, hacking, and puzzle solving are interspersed with quieter moments of city exploration, side quests, and storytelling.
A unique, deeply Slavic approach to the world of cyberpunk will not leave anyone indifferent thanks to a sarcastic sense of humor and a slightly pessimistic view of the neon-gray shades of the surrounding reality, which at the same time brings a breath of fresh air to the genre.
