It seems your neighbors need to get rid of monsters. AWAY could have been one of those bloody FPS games if you weren’t a harmless kid armed with… a wooden stick.

As you get into danger, investigate the disappearance of your parents, and very strange events, you’ll need to find allies. Luckily, you have a lot of strange but strong heroes in your neighborhood.

You may not be ruthless, but you’re very good at making friends! From an angry tree throwing mines, to a rocket-launching robot, or a fireball-throwing but short-sighted football player, you’ll be in good company!

See the world through the eyes of your allies in first person as you call out to them. Be careful, it can be quite a visual experience! And don’t wear them out too quickly!

AWAY: Journey to the Unexpected is developed by a two-man team – Aurelien Regard (a video game developer who previously released The Next Penelope) and Jim Ginnisson (former level designer for Rayman Legends and Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom).
