Congo. Situated in the heart of equatorial Africa, a country shrouded in the mysteries of distant travels. It was here, in Congo, that fate brought the aspiring lawyer George Stobbart, one of whose clients wanted to patent his invention – an inexhaustible source of energy. Paris. A mysterious individual, introducing himself as a hacker, tells a journalist Niko, who specializes in sensational investigations, a strange story about deciphering an ancient manuscript and discovering the causes of increasingly frequent natural disasters. Stobbart’s plane crashes in the jungle. The scientist, with the purpose of visiting whose laboratory George came to Congo, is dead. Niko, who came to meet with the hacker, first becomes a witness to the murder, and then – and the accused in this case. The chain of seemingly unrelated events is closed.
