Canterz Paranormies is a 2D top-down survival horror game based on the story of the most famous team of paranormal investigators in the United States, the “Canterz Paranormies”, who were asked by the owner of a haunted house in Texas to investigate it for paranormal activity.
The Texas house was built in 1974 by Jake, the original owner of the house. In the early 1980s, Jake became interested in witchcraft, which resulted in the house being filled with dark energy. He regularly performed rituals in the basement of the house, as he was addicted to it. Gradually, his mind was taken over by a demon, which forced him to kill his family members. The man was arrested the next day after the incident, and he confessed to the authorities that he did not remember committing the crime. Based on his confession, he was sentenced to life in prison.
The house sat empty for decades until someone bought it and decided to live there upon returning to the US from overseas. After only a few days of living in the house, he realized that it was haunted and that the souls of the dead were still wandering around, seeking revenge. He called in the Canterz Paranormies to check out the house and help him.
You play as James, the lead investigator for the Canterz Paranormies, and must help the current owner of the house at any cost.
