You find yourself in the 1980s, an alternate world that is increasingly immersed in dystopia. Become part of the Evening News team in the midst of a political scandal and the rise to power of a radical government about which a certain celebrity has already managed to write a book.

You came to clean the studio – but by a twist of fate, in an instant you have become the person whose decisions determine what will be broadcast.

Not For Broadcast is a propaganda simulator with a gripping storyline in which you influence what tomorrow will be like. Switch between four cameras, control the news reports, drown out swearing – and all this on live air. Will you choose to censor the news and get a reward for it, or reveal the truth to the world, but then live with the consequences of your decision?

  • Decide what to show – Entertain viewers with your editing skills. You are the artist, the airwaves are your canvas.
  • Keep an eye on the format – Drown out profanity… or “unconfirmed” information. News should be suitable for both children and repressive political regimes.
  • Control the news – Some people’s reputations are now in your hands: what will viewers learn about a famous footballer’s new girlfriend or his passion for drinking? You can influence not only his marriage, but his life.
  • Place ads – Your bank account balance directly depends on what ads appear on the air. You are not responsible for the quality of the ads.
  • The show must go on! – Do not cancel the broadcast under any circumstances. Nothing can stop the news, not even a 5-point hurricane!
