OMSI 2 Tools — AUXI Expansion

Among the new features is the driver’s camera, which follows the steering wheel and is known from other driving simulators. In AUXI, you can also adjust the height of the driver’s seat, so that each player can find their optimal position in the driver’s cabin. It is also possible to move the seat back and forth and change the viewing angle.

AUXI also solves the problem with OMSI’s game time, which occasionally desynchronizes due to the low frame rate.

Also new is the improved weather system, which contains significantly more data than the previous one. Weather changes also occur gradually. This allows you to feel the weather while driving much more dynamically.

Maps and buses without announced stops are no longer a problem with AUXI. Stops are announced thanks to the text-to-speech system.

The included AI planner allows the player to set their personal preferences for traffic and passengers depending on the day of the week and time of day.

Those who are into statistics will find a lot of new data about their journey in AUXI. This includes the kilometers traveled, the number of stops, and even those that were not passed are displayed, the number of passengers served, the turnover, and much more.

AUXI additionally includes features for developers who would like to use and modify OMSI data. Numerous OMSI variables can be conveniently edited in this way.
