The Spanish considered the Caroline Islands in the Pacific Ocean their colony, but did not actually control them.

In August 1885, a German colonial squadron occupied the Caroline Islands. In response, the Spanish sent their ships to the Philippines.

The game scenario has been supplemented with 8 new types of historically accurate warships.
