Help G.I. Ant gain access to the crazy world of Captain Rat’s Treasure Caves.
The game consists of 100 levels of increasing difficulty in nine different themed worlds. Each level has several interconnected platforms on which several “dominoes” are placed. The goal of the game is to rearrange the dominoes so that with one push all the dominoes are knocked over, thereby opening the exit to the next level. There are 11 different types of dominoes, indicated by red and yellow patterns, each with different properties. The player controls G.I. Ant, who can move certain dominoes by carrying them one at a time.
Various factors can cause the level to be failed. In addition to knocking over all the dominoes, the player must be able to reach the exit door after the domino falls. For example, the player will not be able to reach the exit if the ledge leading to the exit has been destroyed, or if the gap leading to the exit has not been sealed, or if the line of dominoes lies across the exit. G.I. Ant can die by falling from a great height, falling to the bottom of the screen, or being crushed by falling dominoes. In this case, the player receives the message “You Failed, You Died” and is forced to restart the level. Additionally, the level will be failed if the dominoes are destroyed by one domino landing on top of another.
Each level has a time limit in which it must be completed. However, if time runs out, the player can still continue the puzzle if they wish. If the game is paused after time runs out, a small hint will appear on the screen giving advice on how to complete the level.
