SGS Pacific D-Day

It is well known that the battles that the Americans fought in the Pacific Islands against the Japanese during World War II were extremely fierce and brutal. The goal of this operational strategy game is to allow players to discover five of the most iconic of these battles between late 1943 and early 1945. Playable on both sides, you have a variety of units at your disposal, from mobile infantry, tanks and aircraft to static defenses such as bunkers, trenches, tunnels and mines. Your careful play and balance between units, as well as clever use of cards (which you receive each turn to aid your strategy), will allow you to achieve victory goals: either capture an island without major losses (on the US side), or hold it to the end, inflicting major losses on the attacking side (if playing as the Japanese).
