Warhammer 40,000: Gladius – Adeptus Mechanicus

You, the Adeptus Mechanicus – the Cult of the Machine God – have worshipped the Lord Ruler long before the Imperium came to your world of Mars. Following his decree, you have never wavered or stopped following your calling – to gather knowledge and use it to gather more. In this pursuit, you have created the devices and machines that allowed the Imperium to conquer the galaxy 10,000 years ago and hold it today.

So Gladius Prime was your planet as much as it was an Imperial planet – a hive world, after all? Its cities, its moons, its waste – all were built on Mars technology, all answerable only to the Adeptus Mechanicus – that is, to you. It was easy to hide the Adeptus Mechanicus’ research on the Tyranids here, in a base deep beneath the ash wastes.
